Oak wall clock - 1930s

A familiar feature in the mid-20th Century home, a stylish wallclock with a deep and resonant chime on the half hour and hour.

Item Description

Oak wall clock. Yes, they were made in their tens of thousands but that was for a reason. The simply styled dark oak wall clock is a workhorse, with its reliable German movement and its sold case, slightly decorated and featuring bevelled glass panels in the front opening door. The arabic numerals are clear, easy to read, with simple hands, and the clock keeps excellent time.

Some had viewing windows on the side panels. This one doesn’t. The case is in excellent condition. It is what it is. Sits comfortably in hallway, lounge, landing or dining room – I, for one, love it.

Dimensions (approx): H – 72cms W – 33cms D – 17cms
